MAYOR’S GREETINGS

The 25th Pinoso Cuisine Fair is one of the major events in our municipality, and this year it takes on special significance as it forms part of the commemorative program for the Bicentennial of Pinoso as a Town (1826-2026).

On February 12, 1826, King Ferdinand VII proclaimed Pinoso an independent town from Monóvar, marking the most decisive milestone in our collective history. Two hundred years later, we celebrate this anniversary by highlighting what defines us as a people: our traditions, our culture, and our way of sharing.

The Cuisine Fair is a true reflection of our identity, of the work of generations who have preserved and passed on a gastronomy deeply rooted in the land, its products, and its people. An event that, year after year, helps to strengthen our sense of belonging and project the image of Pinoso beyond our borders.

I invite you to participate in this celebration, to calmly savor our cuisine, and in this way, be part of a historic year for Pinoso.
