SALUDA ALCALDE

It is impossible to think of Pinoso without taking into account its renowned gastronomy.

Those who know the town know well what it means to eat well, because we are a town that preserves the best culinary tradition and has managed to take it to a quality level that has made it a benchmark at provincial level. In fact, we can say that this is one of the main assets of the municipality and a tourist attraction of the first order.

It is worth highlighting the value of our gastronomy, based on quality products, as we will see in a new edition of the Mostra de la Cuina del Pinós, which will continue to delight the most demanding palates, providing the opportunity to taste traditional dishes, from the recipe book of our elders, which have been adapted to modernity without losing their essence.

The restaurants taking part in this year’s Mostra de la Cuina are already expecting a clientele ready to taste complete menus in which the sausages and pastas made locally have a prominent presence, accompanying such renowned dishes as rice with rabbit and snails, gazpachos, the simple and tasty gachamiga, the ‘fasegures’ or the surprising ‘ajos pinoseros’ with rabbit and ‘picat’. A simple yet creative cuisine, with exquisite flavours and smells, which guarantees a very complete tourist offer.

In these menus, the wines produced by our wineries also shine with their own light, which will also be present on the tables to accompany each dish.

And the experience can be completed by walking through every corner of the town centre and rural areas, shopping in bakeries, butcher’s shops… getting to know the people, customs and traditions, and sharing this experience to make this event even bigger, which over the years has become an important tourist attraction for the municipality.

Local hospitality professionals are ambassadors for Pinoso and offer us a unique opportunity that we cannot miss.

SALUDA CONCEJALÍA

The gastronomic event Mostra de la Cuina del Pinós is back oner more year to satisfy the most demanding palates. It is the 22nd year of promoting traditional cuisine with avant-garde touches, a few days that serve to show the pride of the good cuisine of local restaurants, which take great care in preparing special menus using local and seasonal produce of the highest quality.

Days to enjoy with all the senses, in which the Pinoso Town Council offers its support to a sector that is very important for the town.

The event continues to enjoy recognition and distinction in the province and beyond, and the Local Development, Commerce and Tourism Councils would like to invite you to taste the best of our gastronomy, but also to take the opportunity to discover the main tourist resources of Pinoso.

As the person in charge of this Council, I am confident that all the effort we are making together with the restaurants participating this year will be rewarded and that we will once again see halls full of diners.

Let’s make the most of the occasion offered by the XXIII Mostra de la Cuina to enjoy excellent dishes and share this experience in good company.

We want these days to be a delight to sit at a table in a restaurant in Pinoso.
